From Mirror Reflections to Global Stages

Dance has been the love of my life since the age of five. I wasn’t just a child who loved to move—I was a storyteller in motion, a little performer captivated by rhythm. I vividly remember those moments dancing in front of the mirror, embracing my imperfections and discovering the pure joy of self-expression.

At the age of ten I took my first formal leap into the dance world with Shiamak Davar’s academy in New Delhi, training in Contemporary and Freestyle. My teenage years naturally blossomed into a deep passion for Bollywood dance—where rhythm, grace and storytelling merged with my cultural roots. Every stage I performed on during university and early career life became a canvas for growth, confidence and authenticity.

In 2013, my journey led me to Singapore, where I immersed myself in the intricate art of Kathak (Indian Classical dance) at Apsaras Arts Ltd., while continuing to evolve in Bollywood and Freestyle styles under renowned instructors.

A new chapter began in 2023 when I moved to London. Here, I embraced new opportunities—choreographing and performing Bollywood, Freestyle, and Contemporary, and sharing my love through teaching and community performances. My love for dance knows no age limits, and it inspired me to begin teaching Freestyle to a wonderful group of 6–8 year olds at a primary school as a volunteer. When passion meets purpose, giving back to the world becomes a natural expression of love.

London also opened the doors to Latin Dance—a style I’ve trained intensively in over the past year and a half. My love for Kathak continues to thrive through my training at a prestigious classical dance school because for me, the journey of learning never ends.

Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of learning from global artists like Team Naach and Jainil Mehta and performing solo at major cultural events including the UK’s largest Krishna temple.

From mirror rehearsals to international stages, from the delicate rhythms of Kathak to the vibrant spirit of Latin and Contemporary—my journey is a celebration of dance in all its forms. And the most exciting part?
